Yoga means unification. A merger of one's higher self or true self, with the self which lives and breathes through daily life, the self that develops habits preventing freedom. Yoga offers a way to win back our original freedom through body/mind/spirit awareness.
The word meditation, is derived from two Latin words : meditari (to think, to well upon, to exercise the mind) and mederi (to heal). Its Sanskrit derivation 'medha' means wisdomMeditation means awareness. Whatever you do with consciousness is meditation. "Watching your breath" is meditation; listening to the birds is meditation. As long as these activities are free from any other distraction to the mind, it is effective meditation.

Throughout years of colonization and influence from other countries, Sri Lanka has adapted its food culture into an intermingle of different curry blends and dishes. A few things about Sri Lankan food can be said with certainty: Sri Lankans love use a lot of aromatic spices and herbes, and the food simply explode with colour & flavor. Being an island with a tropical climate, coconuts and Seafood/fish are two of the most influential components of Sri Lankan cuisine. Seafood/Fish is made into curries and coconut in some form or another is included in nearly all dishes. Seafood at our restaurant is a story that you need to see for yourself, the grilled snapper, flamed lobster, prince of the lagoon or prawn cocktail are dishes that are most recommended.
